Why Bohzo

Why choose Bohzo Accountants in Fron?

The price is the price

Before we touch anything for a Fron client, the fee is in writing — and it stays put. Hourly billing doesn't exist here.

Never miss a date again

Every filing date that applies to you goes in our diary the day you join — and we chase the records, not the other way round.

Real company, real accountability

Everything done online

Upload, approve, filed. The whole engagement runs from your phone or laptop, on your schedule rather than office hours.

Transparent pricing

Year-end accounts from tidy records£149
Accounts + Self Assessment bundle£229

“From” pricing reflects the simplest case; anything more complex is quoted as a fixed fee in writing before work begins — and never changes after.

What makes us different

Online accountants vs the high street

A high-street accountant in Wales typically bills by the hour, meets by appointment and prices each extra question. We built the opposite: written fixed fees agreed up front, unlimited questions inside the price, and a fully online workflow — no premises anywhere, so no premises priced into your fee in Fron.

There's no office to fund in Fron and no office to visit: records travel through our secure portal or WhatsApp, approvals happen on your phone, and filings go to HMRC and Companies House electronically. You get the same qualified work — minus the overheads, the travel and the surprises on the invoice.

How it works

Sole Trader Accounts in Fron: from first message to filed

Message us from Fron

A WhatsApp message from Fron is enough to start: what you need, what shape your records are in, any deadline you're worried about.

Fixed quote in writing

The quote arrives in writing, covers everything discussed, and is the number you'll actually pay. No revisions later.

Online onboarding

Identity checks, engagement letter, secure record upload — all handled from wherever you are in Fron. We chase whatever's missing.

Approve, then we file

Nothing is filed until you've seen and approved it. Once you have, submission is electronic and confirmation comes straight back.

Serving Fron

The same service in Fron as anywhere — by design

Fron sits in Wales, and like everywhere we serve, it gets the identical service and fee as central London — because nothing about our work depends on where you are. What matters is your situation, your records and your deadlines; all three travel over WhatsApp just fine.

Smaller towns like Fron are exactly why we work online: the nearest high-street firm may be a drive away, keep office hours, and price like scarcity. Your accountant should be as close as your phone — and priced like competition exists.

Fron & around

Where we work around Fron

Fron is part of Wales, with Crossgates its nearest neighbour — about 0.8 miles to the south-west. If you're comparing local options from Fron, it helps to see the map the way we do — one service area, no travel involved.

Questions

Fron sole trader accounts FAQs

Do sole traders legally need accounts?

There's no Companies House filing for sole traders, but you must keep records supporting your Self Assessment — and proper accounts almost always save more tax than they cost, because expenses stop slipping through the cracks.

What expenses can I claim?

Anything wholly and exclusively for the business: materials, tools, mileage or vehicle costs, phone, insurance, home-office use, software, professional fees and more. Our job is claiming everything legitimate — clients are usually surprised by what they'd been missing.

My records are a mess — is that a problem?

Not for us. The 'shoebox' package exists precisely for carrier bags of receipts and a year of bank statements. We sort, categorise and build your accounts from whatever you have.

Do I need to visit an office in Fron?

No — there's nothing to visit and nothing to print. We're an online firm: records go through our secure portal or WhatsApp, and everything is filed electronically. It works the same whether you're in Fron or anywhere else in Wales.

I searched "accounts near me" — is this service really local to Fron?

Fron is fully covered, yes. The work is done online, which in practice means more local than an office: same-day replies instead of appointment slots, and the same published fixed fee whether you're in Fron town centre or the edge of Wales. If you'd rather talk it through first, WhatsApp us — a real person answers.

Who will actually handle my accounts?

Bohzo Accountants — a trading name of Bohzo Ltd, a registered UK company (No. 15031604). You get a named contact, a fixed fee in writing, and nothing is filed until you've reviewed and approved it.

How do your fixed fees work?

You tell us your situation, we quote one fixed price in writing before any work starts, and that price never changes mid-job. If your case is unusually complex we'll say so up front and agree a different fixed price — but the fee is always agreed before we begin, never after.

Worth knowing

Things worth knowing before your next filing

The VAT registration threshold

Some businesses register for VAT before they must — reclaiming input VAT can be worth it if your customers are VAT-registered themselves. Others should stay below deliberately. It's a real decision with real numbers, not a formality.

The 31 January deadline, without the panic

Online Self Assessment returns are due by 31 January, along with any balancing payment — and HMRC's £100 penalty applies the moment the deadline passes, even if you owe nothing. Most Fron clients who come to us in January still file on time; the records just need to arrive before the last week.

Your first year in business

The first tax bill is the hardest because it can arrive with payments on account attached — up to 150% of the year's tax in one go. New businesses that save a quarter to a third of profits from day one never feel it.

Corporation tax dates work differently

Company deadlines run off your accounting year end, not the tax year: corporation tax is payable nine months and one day after year end, and the CT600 return is due twelve months after. Confusingly, the payment is due before the return — a sequencing quirk that catches new directors.

When HMRC writes to you

Compliance checks are usually specific: one return, one figure, one question. Answered promptly and with evidence, most close quickly. The expensive enquiries are the ones that started as unanswered letters.

Bookkeeping that takes minutes, not weekends

The businesses that find January easy are the ones whose bookkeeping happened all year — automatically. Modern software matches bank transactions, files receipts photographed on a phone, and leaves nothing to reconstruct from memory in the new year.

Sole trader or limited company?

The honest answer changes with your profits. At lower profits, sole trader simplicity usually wins; as profits grow, a limited company's mix of salary and dividends, corporation tax rates and liability protection starts earning its extra admin. We run the actual numbers before recommending either.

Switching accountants is easier than you think

Changing accountant mid-year is routine: you authorise the new firm, we write a professional clearance letter to the old one, records transfer, and HMRC authorisation moves online. Clients are usually surprised the whole thing needs almost nothing from them.

General guidance, not personal advice — thresholds and dates change. For advice on your own position in Fron, message us and we'll answer against your actual numbers.
