Why Bohzo

Why Reach businesses pick Bohzo

Deadlines managed for you

Self Assessment, VAT quarters, accounts, confirmation statements — each deadline is tracked and chased by us, well before it's close.

One fixed price, in writing

Quote first, work second: one written price that can't drift, however many questions you ask along the way.

100% online, by design

Secure portal and WhatsApp — no office visits, no printing, no waiting rooms.

Who you're dealing with

We're Bohzo Ltd (Company No. 15031604) — a registered UK company you can look up, not an anonymous website.

What makes us different

Online accountants vs the high street

Most local firms near Reach quote low, bill by the hour and reserve the right to charge for every phone call. We work the other way round: one fixed fee agreed in writing before anything starts, every question included, and the whole engagement handled online — which is exactly why we can serve Reach at fees a walk-in office can't match.

There's no office to fund in Reach and no office to visit: records travel through our secure portal or WhatsApp, approvals happen on your phone, and filings go to HMRC and Companies House electronically. You get the same qualified work — minus the overheads, the travel and the surprises on the invoice.

Reach & around

Where we work around Reach

Reach is part of East of England, with Delver End its nearest neighbour — about 0.1 miles to the south-west. Wherever you are around Reach, the numbers below are why "near me" matters less than it used to — every place in the list gets the same service, the same day.

Questions

Accountants in Reach: FAQs

Do you have an office in Reach?

No — and that's deliberate. We're online accountants serving Reach and the whole UK: records travel through our secure portal or WhatsApp, filings go to HMRC electronically, and the savings on premises show up in our fixed fees.

Which accounting services are available in Reach?

All our core services are available in Reach: Self Assessment, limited company accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, corporation tax, sole trader accounts and company formation — each at a fixed fee. Specialist services are available on request.

I searched "accountant near me" — do you actually cover Reach?

Yes — Reach is fully covered. We're online accountants, so "near" works differently: no office to drive to, but same-day responses, filings handled for Reach businesses every week, and local detail like East of England deadlines and postcodes built into how we work. For most people that beats an office across town they'd visit once a year.

How quickly can you start?

Usually the same week. Message us on WhatsApp, get your fixed quote in writing, complete online onboarding (including the identity checks UK accountants must run), and send your records — most engagements start within days.

How do your fixed fees work?

Every job is quoted as one fixed price in writing before work starts, and that price never changes mid-job. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices — if something extra comes up, it gets its own quote first.

Worth knowing

Things worth knowing before your next filing

Making Tax Digital is coming for income tax

From April 2026, self-employed people and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000 move onto Making Tax Digital for Income Tax: digital records and quarterly updates to HMRC, not one annual return. The year before is the right time to get bookkeeping into shape.

Landlord tax has its own rules

Since Section 24, individual landlords can't deduct mortgage interest as an expense — it's a 20% tax credit instead, which pushes some higher-rate landlords into surprising bills. Whether to hold property personally or through a company is now a genuine question with genuine trade-offs.

Tax is a cash-flow event

Every tax bill is predictable months in advance — which makes tax the most plannable cost a business has. A separate tax savings account, fed a fixed percentage of every sale, converts January from a crisis into a transfer.

IR35 and working through a company

If you contract through your own limited company, IR35 asks whether you'd be an employee without it. For medium and large clients, the status decision is theirs; for small clients, it's still yours — and getting it wrong in either direction costs money.

Your first year in business

Register with HMRC by the 5 October after your first tax year of trading, open a separate business account, and put a fixed slice of every payment aside for tax. Do those three things and your first January will be boring — the good kind.

Side income and the £1,000 allowance

HMRC receives data directly from online platforms about sellers' income. If a side hustle has grown past the £1,000 trading allowance, coming forward first is always cheaper than being written to — penalties scale with how the disclosure starts.

Sole trader or limited company?

Incorporation isn't a milestone, it's a calculation: corporation tax versus income tax and NICs, dividend taxation, what you need to draw versus what can stay in the company, and whether limited liability matters for your work. For some Reach businesses it saves thousands; for others it's pure extra paperwork.

Payments on account, decoded

Payments on account catch people out because the first year effectively bills you one-and-a-half years of tax at once. Knowing that in advance changes how you save through the year — and if profits fall, we can apply to reduce the July payment rather than lending HMRC money interest-free.

General guidance, not personal advice — thresholds and dates change. For advice on your own position in Reach, message us and we'll answer against your actual numbers.
