What Totham Hill gets with Bohzo Accountants
Every filing date that applies to you goes in our diary the day you join — and we chase the records, not the other way round.
Before we touch anything for a Totham Hill client, the fee is in writing — and it stays put. Hourly billing doesn't exist here.
Upload, approve, filed. The whole engagement runs from your phone or laptop, on your schedule rather than office hours.
Bohzo Accountants is a trading name of Bohzo Ltd, Company No. 15031604.
Online accountants vs the high street
Traditional firms around South East still run on hourly billing, office appointments and fees you discover after the work. We work the other way round: one fixed fee agreed in writing before anything starts, every question included, and the whole engagement handled online — which is exactly why we can serve Totham Hill at fees a walk-in office can't match.
There's no office to fund in Totham Hill and no office to visit: records travel through our secure portal or WhatsApp, approvals happen on your phone, and filings go to HMRC and Companies House electronically. You get the same qualified work — minus the overheads, the travel and the surprises on the invoice.

Accountants in Totham Hill: FAQs
Do you have an office in Totham Hill?
No — and that's deliberate. We're online accountants serving Totham Hill and the whole UK: records travel through our secure portal or WhatsApp, filings go to HMRC electronically, and the savings on premises show up in our fixed fees.
Which accounting services are available in Totham Hill?
All our core services are available in Totham Hill: Self Assessment, limited company accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, corporation tax, sole trader accounts and company formation — each at a fixed fee. Specialist services are available on request.
I searched "accountant near me" — do you actually cover Totham Hill?
Yes — Totham Hill is fully covered. We're online accountants, so "near" works differently: no office to drive to, but same-day responses, filings handled for Totham Hill businesses every week, and local detail like South East deadlines and postcodes built into how we work. For most people that beats an office across town they'd visit once a year.
How quickly can you start?
Usually the same week. Message us on WhatsApp, get your fixed quote in writing, complete online onboarding (including the identity checks UK accountants must run), and send your records — most engagements start within days.
How do your fixed fees work?
Every job is quoted as one fixed price in writing before work starts, and that price never changes mid-job. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices — if something extra comes up, it gets its own quote first.
From our inbox: what Totham Hill businesses ask us
Scam "HMRC" messages outnumber real ones — HMRC doesn't demand payment by gift card or threaten arrest by text. Real letters have reference numbers that we can verify directly with HMRC before anyone responds.
First-year traders around Totham Hill tend to make the same three mistakes: registering late, mixing business and personal spending in one account, and saving nothing for the first tax bill. All three are avoidable in an afternoon of setup.
Inside-IR35 and outside-IR35 engagements need different setups — sometimes umbrella, sometimes the company, sometimes both across a year. Contractors who plan this per-engagement keep more and worry less.
The businesses that find January easy are the ones whose bookkeeping happened all year — automatically. Modern software matches bank transactions, files receipts photographed on a phone, and leaves nothing to reconstruct from memory in the new year.
Every year a wave of returns gets filed in the final days of January. It works, but it's the most expensive way to do it: no time to check for missed reliefs, and any tax due lands as one surprise. Sending your records early — even unsorted — is the single best gift you can give your January self.
Incorporation isn't a milestone, it's a calculation: corporation tax versus income tax and NICs, dividend taxation, what you need to draw versus what can stay in the company, and whether limited liability matters for your work. For some Totham Hill businesses it saves thousands; for others it's pure extra paperwork.
If a return is late because HMRC asked for one you don't actually need, it can sometimes be withdrawn entirely — penalties included. And where there's a genuine reasonable excuse, appeals succeed more often than people expect. The wrong move is ignoring the letters.
Filing early doesn't mean paying early: submit a return in May and the tax is still not due until the usual dates. Early filing buys certainty, refund speed and time to arrange payment — it costs nothing.
